Hi,
We had a long weekend with Friday being ANZAC day. First time in a long time I did not attend the dawn service. But we were flying to Sydney and it would have made for a super long day. So instead I tidied the house for Jason's arrival (and Janine's non-arrival) and made sure the cats were happy. It was also good to hang with Toby before we both departed Wellington.

At the airport |
We went through to the gate very easily at about 3pm. Super early for our 4pm flight. A relaxed flight to Sydney.

In the departure gate area |
Easily through customs and onto the train. We chanegd at Central to platform 27 and the new Metro line. Then all the way to the end at Tallawong where Karen and Scott met us. By now it was dark outside so no views were had.
Off to bed fairly early. Up for Park Run and we decided to try Rooty Hill. It was about 20 mins drive from Karen and Scott's place. We got there quite early (7.30am) so did a walk of a bit of the course.

We headed back home and Mike and Scott went out to run and increase their step counts. I watched netball with Karen.
Abby got home and we met Will. He was down at Ballarat playing AFL. Then we had tea and off Rouse Hill for some emergency shopping for the 21st birthday party on Sunday. But when we got home it was not long to bed after that.
Up for brunch with Noush and Mel - in the pouring rain. Yuck. But the cafe was just over the road so we stayed dry. Good to hear more about Andrew off doing the Camino now. Wow!

No - they are actually bandanas |
We headed off at lunch time to Troy and Justine's house for Mikayla's 21st birthday party. Big family event. It is always good to catch up with everyone. And it has been ages since I was at their house. A lot of changes there.

It was cowboy themed so Karen had managed to get hats from her friends and Big W had a great selection of flannel shirts for $10. Hahah. And some great red tea towels. I mean - bandanas.

Pinata fun |
There was a pinata and the highlight was Scott taking a swipe at the concrete pole on the verandah and breaking the beating stick into 3 pieces. No where near the pinata.
Back home for more netball. And off to bed. Up early for work. Busy today.
Have a great day!
Love,
Angela
