The Monday with work in town

 Hi,

Monday working in town? What a shock. But we had a special mihi whakatau for the summer of tech interns. Such a great welcome and chance to connect with them. Mike and I were on greeting duty.

At lunch I took my Lululemon pants back to get the tag taken off. They had left the security tag on when I got them last week. I did not realise until she asked me for my receipt that it would look so dodgy to take back some pants with a tag and ask for it to get removed. But she did it for me. I must have looked dopey enough.

Strawberries have flowers

After work we walked home with Barb. Mike is tapering so a walk was perfect. They talked and talked and I huffed and puffed. I found it super hard work. We went a cool way. Ended up on a high contour traverse above Tom's house.

Ate my porridge when I got home. Mike had his tea. And off to bed. I had such a restless night. Donked my head on the bedside table at one stage. When I woke there was a bunch of bedding right up to my pillow. So weird.

PT session in the garage gym. Hard work. Deads 80kg 2 x 4 sets. And bench. 35kg. 8 reps x 3 sets. And called it early.

Maybe my working day will be much better.
