The Wednesday with the Christmas tree

 Hi,

Work went fine - I do enjoy the summer months. T shirt and shorts weather. I caught up with Maureen at work for an iced latte. And I can't believe I took no pics of my lunch with Jo and Sophie. We met up at Willis Lane and enjoyed a lunch there. Jo is now living in Taranaki on a wee farm outside New Plymouth. Apparently I knew this. Readers - I had no clue. Sophie is well and heading over to Aus to see her family again soon.

Our work team ordered Christmas T-shirts and they arrived yesterday so some of us wore them. Very stylish.

I am also a bit mystified why our bike shed is so empty. Lovely weather. There was my bike. Maureen's bike. An eBike that has been there for weeks now. And one other bike. What is going on? It is usually full. Maybe I missed a memo?

Got home and Emma was visiting Toby and Tessa. Good to see her - she is off to live in Canada around the end of January. Wow. Good on her. We dropped her home via the Fresh n Bushy Christmas Trees at Evans Bay. Squashed a wee tree in the car with everyone. Dropped Emma home. Got some Burger Wisconsin on our way home. And put up the tree and lights.

Strava dropped my year of stats. Not too shabby. Let's see if I can do better in 2026. Watched Muppets Chgristmas Carol with Toby and Tessa. Loved it. And then off to bed.

Mike had a good day in Chc by the sound of it. He comes home later today.

I was up and off to work and the gym. Bench today. 37.5 kg 6 reps x 4 sets. Then shoulder rehab.

Back at work. I will ride home after my morning meetings and WFH for the afternoon.
