Hi,
We will blog about the trip and Mike's half marathon effort soon. But when we got home Sunday evening after our netball trip, Abby surprised me with a cute wee Lego figure. So I built that and enjoyed it a lot! Thank you wee Abby.

I built it! |
Mike was up at 4am Monday to take Janine to the airport and then work from the office in town. I had the day off so chilled with the dogs then the Corner Cafe for brekkie with Abby and Will.

Getting cameras set up |
We installed the Ring cameras. The doorbell and 2 external cameras. Good work, Scott and Will. We had one last walk with the dogs too.

About to head airside |
I grabbed some food and then we went airside. Sat at our gate for a few hours watching an AirNZ staff member look after so many people with all their questions. One bloke came back multiple times for help - I am not sure that guy should travel solo.
Easy flight home. Landed just before midnight. Uber came (yay!) and home and asleep by 1am. Jason left the house so clean and tidy and the cats were so happy. Thank you Jason. xx
Hard to wake up this morning. We also had a false alarm at 4am when Mike's previous day's alarm went off. Hahah. 6am was hard too. But I woke before my 7.30am alarm - so that was good.
We are both freezing and working from home today. Brrrr. There was a mighty storm at the end of last week here and there is still a lot of debris over the footpaths. Wow. Glad we missed that.
We have Mike's mother up this week - looking forward to seeing her soon. Dinner out tomorrow night after work for a whānau catch up.
Hope your week is a good one.
Love,
Angela
