The long weekend with Mike home and lots of renovations

 Hi,

Thursday was a blur of builders (Dave came to finish the stringers) and installers (Wasabi installed the new heat pump units). I also had groceries arrive and a haircut. Crazy day.

But it all went smoothly. Yay!

Waitangi Day saw me watching the Winter Olympics and doing a lot of painting. Maureen came over the brekkie too. We did a garage gym session. Yay!

NZ push up challenge also started. Busy as. Mike was having fun on the Abel Tasman tramp with Callan and a bunch of others.

Mike got home Saturday evening and Sunday morning saw us up early to spray Wet & Forget on the roof to get rid of lichen.

Mike also took on some plastering and did so well after I showed him the how-to youtube video. We have quite a bit of patching to do. Including the bird escape hole for the baby bird fiasco day.

Sunday evening we met Adnan at Soprano in Petone for a lovely dinner. He is heading to Aus to live on Tuesday! He is going to rule the world one day. So good to see him. And delicious food as well. Good luck, my friend.

Home to finish the last coat of varnish on the Oregon step. Mike got the upstairs wardrobe rebuilt - it had to be disassembled for the heat pump to go in. I got my stuff back into the wardrobe, and the upstairs bedroom is starting to look more like a bedroom and less like a DIY work room.

Then off to bed.

Up for gym for Mike and walk into work for me.
