The Wednesday with a TOE

 Hi,

Happy birthday to Stephanie for tomorrow.

What a huge day. Mike had the day off and packed for his tramping long weekend. Dave was here to get the stairs sorted.

Stringer ready to go into place

Other stringer in place

It was a lot of fiddly scribing work to get the shape of the "stringers" done. It already looks so good. I have a lot of painting in my immediate future.

I left work as Dave was packing up and drove to collect Mike from Wakefield after his TOE test. I found him outside Adam's house (dropping off some motorcycle bits and pieces) chatting to James G. Hahahah.

Off to the airport for some tea. Then into New World in Miramar for lunch things for Mike. And bumped into Kara. Chatted for a bit - she is in good form.

Dropped Mike off at the airport and headed home. No smell from the sewage discharge at Moa Point was noticeable - must have had favourable winds.

Cats are bewildered that they have the second human only. Hahah. Mike got to Nelson and his accommodation easily. And this morning (Thurs) he was on the shuttle bus to Marahau for the start of his tramp.

The weather is amazing. So they will have such a good time.

Dave is here to finish the stairs. The air conditioner company, Wasabi, is supposed to arrive now. That will be chaos.

Groceries come this morning too. And I have to duck out for my haircut.

Busy as.

Got a lot to do over the long weekend. Painting. I want to see if I can clean the solar panels.

Have a wonderful Waitangi Day.

Love,

Angela
