Hi,
There was no need for the fire brigade to attend the Cub session last night - we kept everything under control. We launched three of the Cubs' balloons and had one partial success. The Cubs didn't mind the poor hit rate as it involved fire. Burning bits of balloon only added to the fun. One Scout leader held the burning balloon a bit too close to his crotch for my liking (and eventually, too close for his liking he decided). But we had a handy bucket of water just in case.
When we got home we tried out Toby's balloon and had partial success there too. Nothing floated but it was looking quite promising for a wee while. Heheheheh.
Mike is off to an all day forum meeting today and then straight to the airport. He is having tests done as a follow up to his birth transfusions and Vivienne is joining him as a control. What fun! Toby and I will join them for a super long weekend tomorrow night. We will visit Northland for the first time ever. Can't wait!
Tonight I will collect Toby for karate, drive to Sally and Andrew's to collect the bouncy castle, drop that off at the neighbour's house as they have requested its use for the long weekend, and then finish packing for tomorrow night's flight. Should be achievable. Heheheheh.
Tomorrow is my last day at work. I guess that means that there may not be regular blogs for a while. I might have to switch to evening blogging. What a shock to my senses that will be.
Have a great day.
Love,
Angela
