Ok. Monday was hard. My brain was still processing Taupo. But I got through it. Slightly more grumpy-looking than usual, I am sure.
Toby's dinner |
When I got home I made dinner for Toby. He had a mountain of mash and a huge chicken breast. He only ate half the chicken (and all the mash on his plate) and some of his peas. So I recycled for Mike (he was late home). Got a smaller plate, and re-plated the half chicken, the leftover mash from the pot and the peas.
It looked just as good the second time.

I made my work PC wallpaper a photo from our road trip up to Taupo. To remind me of the good times of the weekend. :-)

Going to typify the evening madness in our house right now. Just for you. Imagine this: Toby decides to wrap Christmas gifts. I start brushing my teeth. I hear Toby asking Mike where the sellotape is. I'm still brushing my teeth in the bathroom. They search in the normal places - especially the actual Sellotape drawer. Toby decides to buy sellotape tomorrow. I walk into the lounge still brushing my teeth. They explain their predicament and ask me where the sellotape is.
I bend down and with one hand (the other hand is still brushing my teeth) open the drawer that always holds the sellotape. Which they have both searched. I don't even move a thing. I just look inside. While brushing. I see the sellotape. Reach in, pull it out. Slam it on the kitchen bench like a Royal flush at a Vegas casino and walk away like a boss...
The boys think I have super powers. Like, real ones. I do this every now and then to strengthen that faith they have in my abilities.
Have an awesome day.
Love,
Angela
