Hi,
Ok - it was a poor showing at the pub quiz last night but we had loads of fun. Some nights the questions just don't suit the team. However, the laugh of the night was had with one question. Lesley is always careful about answers so no one else can cheat from us. Towards the end (when it was apparent we were not vying for the lead), a question came up: What creature came back to Noah with an olive branch? Well, we all knew that one. Then we started being silly. One of us said it was an Osprey. Then someone said it was a vulture. Then Mike, with his booming voice and a giggle, said it was a vulture carrying a dove. The whole pub went silent as they realised Mike had shouted out the answer and we dissolved into fits of laughter!
We... ummmm... forgot about our new responsibilities and left our cat out to roam around for food and warmth last night while we were out at the pub. We got a text from the previous owners saying if we neglect the cat they'll take it back. So I have no tramping club tonight as I have to come home to cat-sit. Oops. Heheheheh.
That's about it. Have a great day. Weather still cold. Toby having so much fun he's forgotten me. Busy at work. Never mind.
