The Wednesday with Mike tramping after work

 Hi,

Kicked off the day with an iced latte and a bagel with Roanne and Juliet.  Good start for the rest of the day.

We had a team lunch at Two Grey.  The food was good. And I enjoyed talking to Sam and Chris and Irene (people I do not often chat to outside of work).  But I am not likely to return to that venue.  It was so expensive and they did not split the bill.  It felt pretentious.  And the staff seemed rude when a lot of us decided to just drink the tap water.

That will be because it is a very expensive venue for what you get.

Despite all that it was nice to chat to colleagues in a social setting.  :-)

Headed home early to collect the car and trailer from Creswick Garage.  They didn't have time to look for the leak but the trailer has a WoF now.  They parked it so far down the hill.  Hahah.

Got home and managed to get the hitch off and pulled the trailer into the garage  and parked the Subaru.  Phew.

Mike was off after work to Te Ahu Mairangi hill with some tramping group followed by dinner in Tinakori Road.  

It was a gorgeous evening - they got the evening right.

I was asleep by the time he got home.  He woke me with a loud:  Helllooooo.  And then lights came on.  And more talking.  Like - conversations.  

Yes, they were one-sided.  Hahahah.

I went back to sleep super fast.  And slept quite well.  Up for online with Quentin and Mike is now heading to work in town.

Aikido after work tonight - the last one in the 6 week course.
