Busy day at work broken up by an unexpected lunch date with Aidan and Andrew (they were meeting up to check in with weekend plans) and punctuated at the end with dinner out with some work mates.

After work, we met at Macs Bar and had drinks and dinner. It was mainly to make sure we said goodbye to Aparajita as she makes her way to AKL this weekend. She got a job at AKL Uni - woot! Kaustubh will follow once he sorts out his life here.
Also met up with Lisa as she was working at Circa for the evening. She joined us for a drink and a quick snack before we settled into chatting and drinking. Dave and Tere caught up with all their news.
Mike arrived as well with Janine (who I hadn't seen for ages) and Jacqui after going to the leadership Meetup group. Yay - I dodged it this month! :-p
It was late by the time we left. We didn't get home until 9.45pm. On a school night! Mike wanted to continue partying with karaoke. We closed that down. But when he got home, he put music on in the lounge and sang and sang.
I went to sleep.
Lovely morning today. Got a good weekend coming up to celebrate mega birthday milestones for Sally and Aidan. Woot!
