The Tuesday with work

 Hi,

Tuesday was spent working from home and hearing covid creeping ever closer to people I know.  The daily case numbers almost hit 20k yesterday.

In other news, I exchanged messages with Mum.  She is back home and sore and tired.  She has some exercises from the occupational therapist before she sees a physio in 2 weeks' time.  But she is walking a small amount with a walker at the moment.  That seems very promising.

We also spoke to Toby.  He is feeling poorly (as is Tessa) and staying at home.  He might try and find a RAT today and find out.  A test a few days back was negative but he since has developed some symptoms.  It was a good chat and despite his cold, he seems in pretty good spirits.  We have ordered a care package grocery drop from Countdown for Thursday for them.

Mike ordered a surprise

Mike ordered from Lashings and it arrived yesterday.  Scrumptious brownies and lovely roast veges and a quiche-like thing.  Thank you for that surprise, Mike.

Alas though a migraine kicked in for him and he spent most of the afternoon in bed. Seems it wasn't too bad though and he bounced back by evening. Take drugs and vitamins, Mike! Keep those migraines away.

Went to bed.  Couldn't sleep for a bit so we read until late.  But up to hear that police are now trying to move the protestors from parliament.  Let's see what today brings there.

Have a good day.

Love,

Angela
