The weekend with helping Celia move, loading up mulch and doing a tip run

 Hi,

It was a weekend of two halves.  Saturday was so busy.  And Sunday was so relaxed.  But it made for an excellent weekend - so I cannot complain about the two vastly different days.

Friday iced latte

Saturday saw me and Mike up for boot camp on a glorious day.  Such a tough boot camp session too.  Cardio for 30 mins and then legs.

As soon as that was done, we nipped back home to grab the tie downs and headed straight out to Celia and James' old house.  Helped them pack the truck and the back of a few cars.  Then over to unload at the new house.

And they have bought a really lovely house.  It feels super nice.  I hope it is all they dream it will be.  I am sure it will be.  Big (4 bedrooms, 3 lounge/living areas, 2 bathrooms, big garage, lovely deck, sunny, right on the riverbank), bright and solid.

Went back to the old place for another load.  Once we uploaded that one at the new house (and had Andrew arrive to help with the last wee bit), the three of us left for our tasks.

We got the trailer from Epuni, went to Ablaze in Tawa to get a half load of mulch.  Back to ours to unload and dump it all on the side garden where we have our boundary with Juliette.

Filled up the trailer with rubbish (Ange's old couch, old deck chairs, garden waste etc) and took it to Happy Valley.

Home for a quick shower.  Off to the Hutt to drop me and Andrew at the car to drive back to 40 and Mike to drop the trailer off.

Then all out for Bella Italia dinner with Sally.  Mmmm.  Lovely evening.  And thank you - as it was a birthday celebration for my birthday.  Quite like the idea of birthday month spilling over to the next one!  Hahahahah.

Home to bed.  Mike was up early Sunday for a run and a few drinks in town.  But my day was all about a few tasks at home and reading and baking more date loaf.  :-)

Mike went to the supermarket in Thorndon after his run and drinks with Janine.  He merrily blundered into the cordon around Parliament and was stopped by police to ask what he was doing.  "Off to the supermarket and then Wadestown.  And by the way, thank you for all your efforts for the last 3 weeks policing the protestors.".  "You're welcome.  Please go that way, sir" - obviously assessed him as non-threatening.  But as he moved to escape the cordoned off area he met more police patrolling that side of the cordon.  "And what are you doing, sir?".  "Just going to the supermarket and then Wadestown.  Thank you so much for all your efforts in the last 3 weeks."  "Thank you sir - but please go this way".

He brought me all my iced coffees home.  So I can't complain.  He knows the way to my heart.
That was it for the weekend.  At work to get stuck in for the coming week.  Hope your week is a good one.

Mike loves me

Love,
Angela
