It was good to catch up with Elly and Tom last night at Southern Cross for a charity quiz event. Ocean day 2023. And Andrew was a late ring-in. The perfect addition to a quiz team.

Mike and I had a nice walk there from our work. But the food available at the pub was a bit average. Oh well. It filled a hole.
Quiz was fun. Not many rounds - but it was a fund raiser, so you could buy answers and they had games between rounds.
At the halfway point we were in front! But at the end, in the final analysis, when the other shoe dropped, we got 41 points - 1 behind the winning team.
For our effort, we got a $100 Ortega fish shack voucher. Woot! Thanks! And Mike won a raffle prize - $100 at Kapura pub. Which Mike frequents. So he was happy.
Uber home via dropping Andrew at the station. Into bed. Up for brekkie at The Lab with Khemry. Sweet! Good to see her. Let's go fishing this weekend!
