Hi,
Oh - I took no pics at all yesterday. Wow. Okay - so without that visual aid, let me see if I can even recall what I did on Monday. Hahahah.
Work was work. Still at home - and because I am visiting my mother in May, I am likely to stay here as much as possible. I do not want to take covid to her. :-o
After work, I made paneer Thai green curry. With broccoli from the garden. It was yummy.
Then we picked up Andrew from work and headed off to the Hutt. The idea was to drop Andrew home and continue to the touchless car wash at Trentham to test the leak. But Andrew decided to tag along. He hadn't eaten dinner so asked if we could pop into Maccas on the way so he could eat while we sat in the car wash.
Yes, it was a slightly unusual evening. Hahahah.
And let me say, Maccas has nothing - NOTHING - for the vegetarians in your life. Andrew had a wrap - a chicken, lettuce aioli wrap. With the chicken removed. So - he had a lettuce and mayo wrap. That was it. No all day brekkie so you can get an egg McMuffin. No McVeggie burger, launched with lots of fanfare in 2019 and quietly dropped again in 2021. It was rubbish.
Although Andrew said he liked the wrap. But if you are hungry your standards drop. Hahahah.
We sat through the car wash, peering intently into the space where the glove box should be - Mike had pulled it out, and a plastic panel beneath it, and a cabin filter cassette too - there was more or less just a black cavernous space between the dashboard and the passenger floor. A teaspoon of water was blasted into the ventilation system by the high pressure wash and the air jets drying the car, but nothing like the flood that came in last time.
We are declaring the leak fixed. Well done Mike! Now to drop the car off at a panelbeaters to get the interior reassembled. Mike says he's better at pulling bits off than putting them back on.
Headed home via Andrew's house and into bed. Mike finally finished his Ohau track clearance writeup. Up early for PT session online this morning. Phew. my arms and shoulders are now juicy!
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
Love,
Angela
