Hi,
After work last night, Ferrida pinged Mike to ask if she could pop around to say hello. We managed to eat our leftover lasagne and fresh potato bake before she arrived.
Cheese board to chat to Ferrida |
We sat around chatting, hearing all about her adventures in a small town in Wisconsin for the past 2 and a bit years. Craig has work there with the largest organic co-op dairy group in the US. Just listening to her stories about life there was amazing. The snow. The travels into the surrounding states.
We had a good catch up. Eventually I was getting sleepy and Ferrida headed home. I look forward to her social media posts in future now I know a little more about her life over there.
Slept well. Up early for potato cakes for Mike - and I drove in to meet him after that so we could go get our flu jabs. Work paid for them. We went to the unichem at the start of Lambton Quay.
Sorted.
Weekend is looming. No camping for us. But Mike and Janine have found a park run at 8am in Trentham to replace our boot camp. Not too sure about this. But we have registered. Let's see how I go!
Have a great weekend.
Love,
Angela
