The Wednesday with a spontaneous dinner out after work and a huge run from Mike

 Hi,

Yesterday after work, Mike went for a 10km run. And totally nailed it - under an hour and he felt good enough to keep running. He has the possum by the tail already. Mind you, he is actually today working from home as he has caught a sniffle. Ooohhhhh. I am sure he is fine - probably licked one of our cats.

I wandered with Erin up to Little Beer Quarter - she parks her car up that end of town. And she continued on and I ducked into the pub. Found Sally with a table so we got some drinks and waited for Mike and Andrew.

Had a lovely dinner. Andrew and I ate the wild rabbit kebab. Believe me, if everyone knew how delicious that was, we might not have such a big wild rabbit pest problem. They'd all be catching and eating them. Mike had food envy.

Dropped Sally and Andrew home and got home ourselves. Fell into bed. Good sleep. Up to drive into town for the logistics exercise but Mike was sniffly. So, I drove in. Parked under my work. Sent a photo of the location to Sally and Andrew. They need to pick the keys up from me from work and then they get to start phase 2 of their plan.

Yes, it is graduation season and Andrew's cousin is getting her PhD. They need two cars to ferry people around and to dinner at the airport ahead of flights.

Me? I have Spin after work. Then wander home and get ready for the weekend. The weekend has more running for Mike, we need to buy a new lux, we have dinner out Saturday with friends from way back and Sunday looks a lot less busy. Maybe the new Guardians of the Galaxy v3 movie. Woot!
