Hi,
Mike and I rode home together yesterday which was very nice. I had a late afternoon meeting at the office so we left at 1730 together. Well, it was 1740 by the time we left the building giving us only twenty minutes to get Toby before he turned into a pumpkin at Skids. We made it with one minute to spare! Lucky we had that tail wind.
We had tea (yummy pasta - Toby has asked for it again) and then Mike left for tramping club night and we were both fast asleep by the time he got home.
The ride in this morning was on roads left wet by recent rain. It is supposed to clear by the afternoon apparently.
I have to meet Kevin at home at 1730 today - he is the one that will collect Toby and Alex during term time from the bus stop and bring them home to do homework.
The jackhammer people haven't finished as yet. Mike reckons (with his vast experience at digging up concrete slabs) that they are two thirds the way through. Good luck to them!
Mike will pack for his early flight to Brisbane tomorrow. He is away for Brent's 40th birthday until very late on Monday (technically early Tuesday). It leaves me and Toby with a few things to sort out. Armageddon on Saturday. Haircut for Toby somewhere then. Van driving practise for me (for tramping club). And Toby has Jack's party to attend on Saturday evening. Cool!
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Angela
