Being cocooned inside with the air conditioner on is cheating a bit when it is reportedly 43C outside. Mind you, I believe it. I went out to pull the recycle bin up and my feet were burning on the driveway. Ouch. I rode the exercise bike for thirty minutes and then hopped in the pool. The kids have been in and out of the pool all day. The wee girl from next door also came over for quite a bit of time.
Tyler split her lip last night around 5.30pm in the pool. It looks horrible but her teeth seem to have escaped any damage.

Karen is due home fairly early this afternoon. And Scott can't possibly work when it is this hot either, so we might see him early-ish too.
Living on ice blocks and iced coffee. Hahahah. We're off to the Italian restaurant over the road this evening. Means we don't have to prepare any dinner. Good option, Karen.
