Hi,
I rode home in the pouring rain and was quite wet. Stripped off into something dry and warm and took Ma out for dinner at the Speights Ale House in Thorndon. I had a nice steak and Ma had some filo wrapped chicken. Two pints of lemon, lime and bitters and then off to pick up Toby from Jack's house.
Toby had caught the bus from town (number 14) to Jack's house all by himself and I think he was pretty pleased with himself. And I was pleased with him too.
Back home and we watched television for a while before chatting to Mike and then bed.
Tonight is quiz night at The Pickle Jar (used to be the Quiet Lady in Karori). Should be a fun night.
