Toby had a sleepover on Friday night so Ma, Mike and I went out for dinner to Maginnity's (a place Sally and Andrew take us to). It was very nice. Home in a taxi and happily to bed.
Saturday up early to see dismal weather and go and select tiles for the bathroom. Mike and I bumped into Stuart from next door doing exactly the same thing with his mother. Funny.
Back home for a bite of lunch then off to Waikanae to see the Tabors. We chatted happily for a few hours while Josh slaved over a great beef soup (a real chunky yummy soup with great flavour). Toby had played Minecraft for hours. It might be his ideal weekend!
Back home to bed.m Up early Sunday to tidy and prepare family lunch. 14 of us (Toby went off to play with Jack and have lunch there). The day was lovely and sunny. Aidan brought his chainsaw and he ripped into the trees around the house. It looks great now!
Eventually tipped ourselves into bed. Mike was asleep in seconds.
Have a wonderful week. Toby is back at school today. He seems quite happy about it.
