Congratulations to my niece Michelle. Her boyfriend Tim proposed to her in Fiji and she accepted. Woo hoo! I can't believe it. Michelle wrote up a diary of the Fiji fun and sent through lots of photos. It made me cry.
Busy times indeed. I had Toby drop off duty and a good ride down the hill in brilliant conditions. We went out to tea at Kara's house last night and we ate all her fish pie. Even Toby tried hard to eat it. Good on him. We also sorted out some of Kara's computer woes.
Today is Dawkins night - Richard Dawkins talking at Michael Fowler Centre from 6.30 - 7.30pm tonight. Mike may give away his ticket as he has to take Toby to karate and get to tramping club to sort out this weekend's tramp. Shame! Kara has first dibs.
Ma will come in on the bus (with her Dawkins book she is hoping to get signed) and we'll meet up somewhere. We might grab something for tea afterwards and wait for Mike to take him home too.
