The Tuesday in Auckland, but flying back to Wellington

Hi,

The day flew by so fast.  Caught up with colleagues in the Auckland office for lunch and then the afternoon disappeared.  We were told by locals to leave at 4.30pm to be sure of getting to the airport by 6.30pm.  Two hours?  Really?  Well, no.  We were 90 minutes early.  It didn't take very long at all.  The slowest part of the journey was within 2 kms of the Auckland office.  After that is was non-stop all the way.

Ange and I were pretty tired by the time we got back to Wellington though.  Bit windy on approach - but nothing like the ATR flight from Queenstown.  Ange dropped me home and I crept into bed before the boys were even ready for bed.

Mike has tramping club after work today.  Back to normal routine for me and Toby.  I rode in this morning and enjoyed the bone dry roads.  But apparently galeforce winds are coming.  Great.

Have a fantastic day!

Love,
Angela
