Had a weird day at work but did make some inroads into things. Hopefully today will be another day of getting traction. Traction seems like a good thing.

Went dragon boating with the team and had a fun session in the windy conditions. The chop wasn't too bad though. The wind would catch your paddle blade when you turned into the wind. And every now and then a swell would crash over the bow. Celia got pretty wet.
Mike and Toby met us after the session and we popped into The Green man to have a quick dinner before Ubering home.
There had been more progress on the landscaping. So exciting.

We're not sure if we know what they are doing, but it is exciting to see things happen. It looks like they know what they are doing. The neighbour popped around and said that company works like nobody's business. Said they earn their keep. Well, we can tell.
Right. The weekend beckons. It might be my birthday tomorrow. :-) And fun race day for the dragon boat team.
I am finishing work on time today and riding my bicycle like the wind to Alicetown to collect the Subaru. I think. If Mike says it is all go. Yay for getting a car back.
And tonight we should be able to walk on our floors in our socks. Yay for getting most of our house back. I can pack for the race day.
