The Monday back at work

 Hi,

I managed to get an iced latte date with Roanne in a spontaneous coming together of our work calendars really early yesterday.  Mojo does do a good coffee - but they were a bit amateurish with the iced latte yesterday.  They added normal granular sugar to my cold coffee.

High school chemistry suggests sugar won't dissolve in cold coffee easily.  So I crunched my way through the bottom of the drink.

:-p

In a huge highlight, I had lunch with Arthur at Machete.  He has moved here now and living in Lower Hutt (not too far from Mike's mother's house).  Yay for catching up with him yesterday and more frequently through the year.

Sip!

After work I started walking home (to avoid peak hour on the buses) and Mike dashed down the hill in the car to collect me and we then tried to convince Smudge to get in her crate for a vet check up.  Moxley just walked into her crate.

The two cats are so funny.  Smudge hunkers down and hopes no one will notice her.  Moxley wants to say hello to everyone and explore.

Anyway.  They are both good.  They got dewormed and vaccinated and had a claw clip (I noticed them getting caught in things lately).  And we hope Moxley's ears may stay a little free from nicks for a week or so.  :-p  Moxley has a clicky knee and a wee heart murmur - but nothing too concerning.

Back home and had a great dinner (steak for the boys and eggs on a Buddha bowl for me).  Then off to bed.

Up early for boxing with Quentin.  And at work.

Toby has his History mock exam today - super important because if covid disrupts anything later on, this is what will count for his marks.

Good luck wee boy.

Love,

Angela
