The weekend with lots of Wellington things

 Hi,

Quite the social weekend.  Friday saw Sally and Andrew at our place after work.

Saturday morning Mike and I were up for boot camp with Quentin and Joel.  Great session.  Hard work.  Mike got a juice at Tank and then we headed home.

Mike and Toby went out for brunch, then a haircut for Toby (he looks so cool!) and then they grabbed groceries.

Mike's mum is in town so we had a lovely dinner at our house.    We cooked tea - using the vast amounts of silverbeet from the garden.  Vege lasagne.  And Mike and Andrew finished off the Mushroom Wellington part of dinner.

Then chilled on the couch for a bit.

Moxley chills on my legs

Happy Saturday boot camp is done!  ;-p

We pulled out of the day ski trip to Turoa late Saturday - and good thing too.  Sreejith pinged Mike and said Turoa was closed. With strong winds.

Toby went out suit shopping with his mates.  For the school ball the coming weekend.  hence the haircut.  :-p

Instead of skiing we attended a family lunch at 40WLW.  Saw everyone for the first time in ages.  Lovely to catch up with their news.  Aidan and Janne came over.  Malcolm and Marion.  Helen.  And Iona over for her weaving exhibition.

And back home and Mike cleaned up a rats nest.  Yes, literally.  They had got into the garage and eaten all his One Square Meals in our tramping gear.  So he donned his big boy pants (glad it was him - gross!) and washed everything out.

We had a huge change in the weather.  Strong wind and rain.  Nice.  Not.

The All Blacks played Australia here in the midst of it all.  Draw.  16-all.  Sigh...

Went to bed and slept well.  Still horrid here with the weather on Monday morning.

Have an awesome week.
Love,
Angela
