Hi,
We had bad news from a good friend yesterday saying his parents here were involved in a serious car accident near Plimmerton and they were hospitalised, one of them seriously injured. So we were preparing to visit and see if we could let our friend know what it was really like at the hospital. But his father was likely to be discharged last night so we decided against it. It's a scary thought when you live so far from home on the other side of the world. This friend, Brian, lives in Toronto. We have our fingers crossed for the best news for his mother.
Last night was spent doing Toby's homework. I think they are teaching him physics as he has to make a hanging mobile and answer questions about balancing the shapes out on the sticks. It's a multi-night homework project.
I'm off to karate tonight for the first time in ages. Mike has meetings up to his eyeballs today so I'm on earlys and heading off at 4.20pm or so to get home on time.
Not too sure about the likelihood of tennis action this afternoon. I had a good ride in this morning with the lightest of rain falling. the roads were partially dry still. But I think it is supposed to rain at some stage.
