The Monday with normal evening activity

Hi,

The ride in and home again yesterday was great - I love it when there is no wind.  I felt like I flew up the hill.  Sure it wasn't anything like that.  But it is so much easier without struggling into a head wind for ages before you get to the hill.  This morning (Tuesday) is quite damp.  My wet bike gear is hanging up under my desk again and paper towels are jammed into my bike shoes.  I really, really do need to put the front mudguard on.  Cycling down the hill in the rain is tricky when you have a constant flow of water into your eyes.  Sometimes I can lean the bike over and dodge the rooster tail off the front wheel, but that isn't always convenient.

Mike has a specialist appointment this morning (follow up to his June tests with Vivienne) but has his work laptop with him so if the appointment runs late he can still work.  I am hoping to see him for lunch - guess it depends on how late the appointment runs!

Cubs tonight - we're rockpooling in any weather!  Yay!  Looking forward to it.

Let's hope the rain eases by this evening and the ride home is pleasantly dry!  And the only water that wets us for rockpooling is saltwater!  I have my fingers crossed.

Have a great day!  Hope it's romantic for some.  Mike has already informed me there is no way romance is going to figure in a Cubs evening!

Love,
Angela
