Hi,
What a wild night. Wellington is mainly still standing. The damage is widespread but mostly minor. It is still really wild out there. I'd probably call it exciting weather. I didn't ride in. Hahahah. The bus was exciting enough thanks. Didn't see terribly much damage around. Work colleagues are all buzzing.
Toby is having an emotional rollercoaster. Yingjie said school was cancelled. But then he got a text from his mate to say he was on the bus as usual and going to school. So now Mike wants to drive him to school. Aaarrrghhh. Crazy communications. Poor Mike though. It'll take ages to drive.
I think we're still on to cycle to Masterton tomorrow with Andrew. I'll check during the day with him.
