Hi,
After a hectic day I needed a relaxing change of pace. Benjamin was sorting out Toby and Mike and I went to a colleague's leaving drinks. After chatting to people for a while we rushed out to Oporto Burgers. Mike loves them. I am unsure if they are long for this market. Hardly anyone seems to visit them. Their burgers were pretty good. Their chips were far too salty for me.
Off to tramping club and after some confusion (I never got allocated to a team) we were in our own team. Ilske had a hard day at work, and after exchanging a few words with me, she left in the confusion. But it turned out a lot of fun. The questions would have been perfect for Andrew to answer - a huge Tararua component to them.
We have no idea of where we placed, but out of eight teams, we weren't in the top 4. Uh oh! Best swot up for next year.
Got a ride home with tramping club people that live close to us. This meant we caught the bus in this morning. It was so dark, even at 8am, that it felt like a Dunedin winter's morning. Like I remember.
Mike found an Easter Egg in our F&P washing machine. If you hold down certain buttons, and press another one, the anthem of three countries can play. Obviously the NZ anthem is the best! But Scotty might be enamoured as well. As might Aidan. Hahahah. F&P have covered their bases with the export market there. Loved it! How funny. And it washes clothes too!
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Angela
