The Monday at work and level 1 at midnight

Hi,

There you go!  No active covid cases in New Zealand at all.  There will be some again - but for now, we are free from it.  40000 tests done in the past 17 days and not a single case to be found.  That's such good news.  And it seems our economy might not be as battered as they thought - overall.  There are definitely sectors that are suffering.  And of course, some people lost their own battles with covid.

And life goes on.  But the world is different now.

The view from my desk

Monday was so busy at work.  Crazy stuff.  The weather was stunning all day.  And today is a carbon copy.  Except not as cold.

Drove into town for our PT session at the gym!  Wow.  First time in there since mid March.  It was quieter than usual for 7am - but I saw some familiar faces for the early morning crowd.

Back home after popping into my old New World haunt to grab paper towels (we forgot them at the weekend).  Life is just bustling.

Motorway was packed coming home.

Yep - life is fast returning to normal.  But - with a hint of change in the air.  Let's see, eh?  Let's see if we can get kinder to others.  Treat people with more respect.  I can only hope.

Enjoy your day.

Toby is home with a migraine.  Probably caused by the crazy appointment woes with the dentist yesrerday.  He waited in town for 3 hours to go there.  Waited for 20 mins once he got there.  And then got told there was an issue and they rescheduled his appointment.

He was sad when he got home.  But I had cooked fish and mash for tea - so he was okay for a bit.

Right.

Time for work.

Have a good one.

Love,
Angela
