The weekend in Wellington

Hi,

 Had quite the social weekend, really.  Up early on Saturday to go to the Frank Kitts park group session.  Good fun.

Then off to the supermarket on our way home.

Headed out to Vinyl at 4.30pm to meet Janine, Ana, Daniel and Allyson.  I think it might be the first time I have met Allyson outside of our online quiz.  I enjoyed the music at Vinyl - old school.  Hahah.

We tried to find somewhere to eat - but everywhere was full.  So we stayed put and enjoyed the food at Vinyl.

Celebrated Janine's permanent residency.  Woot!

Home far too late for me.  But I stupidly read until 2am.  OMG.

Up on Sunday to meet Kaustubh and Aparajita down from Auckland to collect the last of their stuff.  Mark came to meet us too.  Pandoro - for old times.

Good to see these people!

They are all well - it was so good to catch up with them.  They have been busy during lockdown.

Left there to collect Toby from home and head to La Cloche, via Animates to get kitty litter.  Tessa arrived for lunch too.  Sally and Andrew were already seated.

Shame I didn't get a selfie with Sally looking at the camera because she is sporting a black eye.  Her right eye is a nice colour, courtesy of a collision with the corner of her dresser as she bent to plug her phone in.  Ouch!

Back home to finish painting the fence.  Well, its first full coat.  Second coat to come.

Up early Monday for Frank Kitts group class.  I had to defrost the ice from the windscreen.  It was cold.  The car dashboard showed the snowflake symbol.  I think it says 3C.  Brrrr.  I made a mistake and wiped the side mirror with my fingers.  Took the entire journey for them to stop feeling numb.

Gorgeous day here.  A Dunedin day.  Frosty and clear and calm.

Enjoy your week ahead.  I think Australia has Queens Birthday today.  But we have no more public holidays until late October now.  Boo!
