The weekend with a few things

Hi,

Well, the Friday view from my desk is totally different today.  Rain and wind lash the Wellington suburbs on this wet Monday.

Friday was gorgeous

Let me look again at Friday's view and enjoy that.

We did a few things over the weekend.  Made brekkie Saturday morning.  Headed to group PT class.  They have decided to only run it on Saturdays through winter - so now I need to find out what to do Mondays and Wednesdays.  I enjoyed those sessions.

Saturday morning home made iced latte - nailed it!
Mike went for a walk to the Skyline with Janine after PT class.  I stayed home (hahah - not a hardship) to sell the cubby bookcase from Toby's room to Lily.  $20.  Oosshh.

Happy

Broccoli buds

Cauli coming along
Toby stayed late at Tessa's house on Saturday.  I think Mike and I were asleep when he got home.  Hahah.

A taste of next year when Toby is going to Christchurch to live.

Sigh - I am thinking about that a lot.

Moxley protecting the front yard

Sunday saw us pottering around at home.  Mike got the motor mower going and promptly mowed the next door neighbour's lawn.  Then the other neighbour's lawn.  Then headed to the park to mow the running track back in.

It's now on TradeMe.  And proof it works is through the neighbourhood.

Parrotdog flight

Sally and Andrew had been to visit in the hospital and met up with us for lunch at ParrotDog in Lyall Bay.

I liked the place - and it allows dogs.  So ... everyone AND THEIR DOGS were there.  And kids.  Lots of kids.

Food was ok - had the veg platter.  Sally liked her burger.  Mike liked the beer.

Mike and I nail it!
Back home with Andrew to try more beer.  Sally headed home to recover from the dog day.

After Sally collected Andrew for dinner later, Mike and I sorted out our tea and nailed the Stuff quiz.

Phew.

And that was our weekend.

Week looms large.  Mike and Toby (and Tessa) are heading south for the second week of school hols.  They leave on the ferry on Saturday.  But the working week is between us and that still.

Take care.

Love,
Angela
