Work was so busy - which was probably good as I could have easily been in a post Taupo haze. But no - nothing like that. Here's a photo from around the lake - this is at about 140km - with around 20km to go. The last big hill on the ride.

I did get to a Spin class, and the saddle felt a little uncomfortable. Hahah. But all good. Got the bus home and cooked tea and Mike got home and ate with Toby and me. Perfect.
We relaxed for the evening and did more laundry.
My ride in this morning was stunning. Fog, and so still. Warm here.
