Toby absolutely loves Halloween. We blame Susan of course for making us visit the States around Halloween when Toby was almost 4. He was enthralled with the festivities and rates it almost as highly as Christmas. So, despite the torrential rain last night after work, Mike and Toby prepped for Halloween.
Most years it has been me helping Toby with his costume. We usually try to put some effort in, starting a week or so out from it. This year despite being popular for zombies, Toby wanted to be a vampire. He was a zombie last year and is so cool he's a year ahead of everyone else!
Mike did so well, and Toby helped choose his clothes too. He looked fabulous.
I was out at the pub with a work colleague leaving, but when I went to ride home, it was hosing down and the team were just about to leave home. So they popped into town to get me and I became the driver (I scored the awesome job in the pouring rain!). Dabau and Toby went trick or treating around Wadestown.
Oh yeah - he looks good! |

And our Waikanae weekend house (well, not ours exactly - hahahah) has been sold and I'll have to invent all sorts of weird excuses to visit the Waikanae blackberry patch in February now. Of course, now comes the exciting but slightly panicky "let's find us a house before we're homeless" time for Aidan and Josh. Fingers crossed.
Enjoy the weekend.
Love,
Angela
